MOUNTAINS OF AFRICA
Most of the mountains in Africa are volcanic. Mount Kenya and Mount Kilimanjaro are the highest mountains in the African continent. Mount Kilimanjaro, for instance, is located around the East of Africa and its height is about 19,300 ft. 130 degrees or higher. Traveling in this desert would probably be very
risky because of the weather, and the appropriate animal for this journey is the camel because their bodies are adapted to those rough weather conditions.

Most of the Rain Forests in Africa are located in Central Africa around the Congo River Basin. A number of different animals and plants are found there. The rain forests are home to animals such as gorillas, chimpanzees, elephants and hippopotamus. Most of these rain forests and animals, however, are in danger because of deforestation. The air in rain forests is usually hot and moist.
